Apparently the guy that played Trelane and Captain Koloth died two days ago. Worst. He was in Trouble with Tribbles, and in Squire of Gothos. Legit two of my favourite episodes of TOS. Gonna have to rewatch those. Apparently he did other stuff like singing along with Elvis in one of his songs, but I'm not sure if that compares to the masterpiece that is Trouble with Tribbles.

Moonbuggy!

So we built an awesome moonbuggy! They're gonna take this thing down to Alabama to race the bugger. Unfortunately* I can't go because I got exams and labs to deal with then. But yeah! We's famous now! We got an article in the school newpaper, which is kinda lame, but CBC did a little spot on us, which is highly awesome! Midnight Cooking Adventure: MEGAPIZZA!

This was an awesome pizza. I pretty much threw everything I had on it. It had sauce, pesto, onions bacon and steak fried up with each other with some garlic then thrown on, pepperoni, spinach, more pepperoni on top of the cheese, some sundried tomatoes,a whole wheat crust so it's healthy, and of course some tasty cheeses on top. This bad boy was seriously like an inch and a half high when it was done. In summary, two thumbs up for giant tasty pizzas!

Gues which Homedawg just got Crysis 2?

This guy! This is the sequel to what was considered a pretty revolutionary game, not only for it's gameplay, but it forced everyone to actually upgrade their damn hardware so computer games could move forward with graphics and processing technology. I personally am not as fond of this one as the first one, but it's still pretty damn good. Here's the trailer. It doesn't seem impressive until you know that that's all actual gameplay footage, not cutscenes. so yes the game does look that nice, even during battles. While not as revolutionary as Crysis in terms of gameplay or graphics, I would still give Crysis 2 a solid 8/10

Midnight Cooking Adventure: The Manly Sandwich!

So every now and then, around midnight I feel like cooking food. I'm not nessecarily hungry, I just feel like cooking. I recently found an awesome recipe for this thing called a shooter's sandwich, so I decided to make my own with some extra ingredients, namely bacon, red wine, and sourdough bread. To say the least it was pretty damn awesome.

This mac and cheese is in the top percentage of mac and cheese!

I made this the other day. Friggin Bacon Mac and Cheese. Greatest thing ever. Needed a bit moar bacon, but other wise it was nomtastical. Kudos to jonny with his picture taking skills.

New charity of choice!

So I see's this new charity for Africa, and I was at first like " Oh man another one?". Get me straight though, charity and helping other people is great, it's just that I think that the way most charities in Africa operate is kinda bad, as they depict all the starving orphans and stuff and never focus on good stuff, plus while they do feed people, they don't really help anything in the end cause they don't do much about the local economy and making it so the villagers can provide for themselves. Mama Hope though is basically all about getting these peoples feet on the ground. They don't just go in and feed people, they basically figure out exactly what's needed for the community and help them develop it themselves, which means that they will be able to provide for themselves and be independent. Also I like how they don't spam you with pictures of  sad childeren to try and get money. Instead they do stuff like this:

Just found this out. So the CRTC (Canadian Radio-television Telecommunications Commision) has moved to allow usage based billing(UBB). This basically means you get charged for how much interwubz you use. They're pretty much curbstomping cheap and accessible internet into the ground. This usage applies to ANYTHING you do online-video streaming, email, skype, etc.- not just downloads. This is bad. Apparently it's all the Conservatives fault though. As usual.

Egypt's in chaos!

If you didn't know, Egypt's been having all sorts of protests against their autocratic government. I for one approve of this, as dictatorships and monarchies are ass, and tend to get really corrupt really fast.In response, the government has knocked out the internets to try an stage a media blackout. Unfortunately, Egypt is also one of the biggest recievers of military aid from the States, who have said they're staying out of this one in a press release. This means that the government is pretty well armed, and most likely quite organized. Buckle down folks, this is probably gonna get ugly. It would honestly be twice as devastating to just legalize weed, as then people would have legit sources, there'd be competition, and you could tax the snot out of it. My soul is dead.

I just finished playing Dead Space 1, and am now downloading Dead Space 2. This is honestly the most frightened a game has ever gotten me, save for the well in Ocarina of Time when I was 8. I'm usually pretty chill when it comes to horror and scary shit, but this is intense. Fucking space zombies fly out from nowhere randomly, and combining that with dissonant chords and the loud heartbeat of the character makes it crazy suspenseful. That and you can get ripped apart really gruesomely. That doesn't help.
